What Causes Sore Throat And Headache After Nipple Piercing?
Hi. I had recently had my nipples pierced the 12th and I woke up thr next day with a sore throat and headache and Ive taken day quil the first day but nothing. I have had a sore throat for 2 days now!. I was wondering if my new piercings are causing it. Help please
It is possible that the sore throat and headache you are experiencing are related to your nipple piercings. Nipple piercings are a form of body modification that involve puncturing the skin, which can create an entry point for bacteria and other pathogens. This can lead to infections that can cause symptoms such as sore throat, headache, fever, and general malaise.
Additionally, the placement of the nipple piercings may be causing irritation or inflammation in the surrounding tissue, which can also lead to discomfort and other symptoms. It is important to keep the area around your nipple piercings clean and dry to prevent infection. You can use a saline solution to clean the area, and avoid touching or twisting the piercings. If the symptoms will worsen, should see your caring doctor physically.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
