What Causes Sore Throat And Cough While On Robitussin?
On vacation now and two days ago I developed a sore throat; coughing is fairly continuous and is felt in chest area. Sound in chest area is pretty intense; sometimes sounds like it is breaking up. Lastly ears are clogged. Simple colD? Using Robitussin dm. No change.

It does sound like a cold, these can last for 7 to 10 days in most persons, rarely up to 2 weeks.
Robitussin dm contains a mucolytic and a cough suppressant. The mucolytic would help to break up any mucus in the chest or nose.
Fluids, rest would also be important
A decongestant and antihistamine combination would help with the clogged sensation.
These would be over the counter medications
