What Causes Sore Throat After Taking Increased Dosage Of Azithral?

Hi doc i was having symptoms of Chlamydia like pain in testiciles,burning sensation in tip of urinal part and after the test confirmed doc prescribed me two azithral 500 mg for three days ( 2 X 3 ) but due to some miscommunication i took 3 instead of 2 doses daily . which i took for 2 days and now im having a mild sore throat...is it an side effect of taking extra dose

all antibiotics kill bacteria. Sometimes, that allows a fungus, typically candida, which is not killed by antibiotics, to grow. That can lead to a painful sore throat called thrush. look in your throat and tongue for small white dots or patches. That can be a sign of thrush which can be treated with an anti-fungal prescription medication.
