What Causes Sore Stomach?

Hi. My eight year old daughter has a sore stomach mainly on her right side. I got her to touch it and show me how hard she can press and it hurt her too much. She is ok on her left side. She is not crying but uncomfortable. It sounds like a muscle strain but could it be more serious? It only started yesterday(Saturday) so we are into our second day.Thankyou.

Hi, with any child with pain in her right side of her upper abdomen, look whether her urine is dark coloured or not, if it's normal and if she is not having any fever or cough or vomiting just wait and watch approach is needed. just give her a painkiller and do a warm compress. hope this helps u.
