What Causes Sore Pain In Legs And Hips Post Back Surgery?

I had back surgery February 2015 . I felt better for awhile but started having pain in legs and hips again. Legs hurt to touch at times sore like I have been running. Muscle spasms. Thigh on left leg is numb before and after surgery. Lower back hurts and warm feeling. When I try to tote grandbabies 8 and 13 lbs. I feel like bottom of back is going drop. Already went thru PT. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi....
thank you for asking HCM.
From your description , your condition appears to be a case of Radiculopathy. ie when something is pressing on the nerve roots coming from spinal cord, t an cause pain the areas being supplied by that nerve. There is a good chance that L5 is again displaced. Imaging studies would confirm this. i would suggest you to consult your surgeon.
take care . bye
