What Causes Sore Bump, Dizziness And Headache After Hitting Head?

I fell in the shower two days ago. Hit my head on the wall, did not lose consciousness. Having dizziness, slight nausea, headache, and blurred vision. Concerned that I may have gotten a concussion. It s better after I rest, lay down, etc. a little worried. The bump is very sore, not really a lump, just very sore.

Hi there,
I am Dr. Deepak, I am working in Emergency Department, Where I see any of my Patients with head injury. As you have mentioned that you fell in the shower two days ago, following which you were dizzy, nauseated, headache, blurred vision and a bump which very sore.
As you have told earlier you had the injury 2 days back, how are you feeling now. In my opinion if your still having dizziness, headache and blurred vision. It will be better if you could show to the doctor, who can examine you and then he will be in better position to tell if there is any problem.
Other wise if you are very much fine now, then there is no need to worry. The bump might take some time to settle down, may be 14 days depending upon how big it is. For the time being you can take some painkiller.
Thank you
I hope your concern was dealt with and I hope you have a speedy recovery.
