Hello and welcome to HCM, White colored discharge from breasts can occur under the influence of hormones. A serum prolactin level may be estimated to look for any abnormality of pituitary gland. In addition, soreness of breast can occur in second half of menstrual cycle under the influence of progesterone. Soreness of breasts is also seen during pre-menstrual phase and that again is under the influence of hormones. Observe the symptoms for some time. The soreness of breast should disappear after some time. If the soreness persists then you need to consult your gynecologist for further work up.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
