General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Clitoris has a richly nerve supply. Injury (post sex, masturbation or itching) can cause inflammation and pain very easily. You need to exclude trichomonas infection and get specific treatment under a gynecologist's care, so also both the sex partners. If you don't have itching, washes with hot / cold water, applying antibiotic with steroid ointment gently. Take anti-inflammatory pills like Ibuprofen twice a day after food. Consult a gynecologist, if no relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
