What Causes Sneezing And Watery Eyes After Getting A Dental Injection?
Hello I just had a couple fillings done on my front teeth and when they gave me the injection to numb my upper teeth I felt it go up to my eye. After the fillings were done and the numbing was going away I immedieately started having sneezing and runny nose and eyes watery. Did the sinus somehow get irritated when this happened.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sneezing and watery eyes after getting a dental injection which seems to be due to perforation of needle in sinus and leading to these symptoms.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit dentist once again and get complete examination done and start treatment after complete examination. You should get X-ray of upper anterior teeth region as well. Till then you should take all preventive measures such as avoid intake of cold liquids and do not touch you hands with eyes again and again as it will spread infection. Take proper course of antibiotics along with antiinflammatory medications.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
