What Causes Small Red Spots On The Toenail After Taking Lamisil?

I took some oral lamasil for toenail damage and had some side effects. red spots on the skin. The condition has grown, and have itchy red spots, some have small scabs as well. No oozing stuff. It has been a couple months and stopped using the oral stuff right away. Wondering about seeing somebody about it. what say you?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction of Lisinopril. I recommend taking daily anti-histamines such as Levocetirizine daily. I also recommend to use steroid lotion for local relief.

I suggest you to stop the medication and take an alternative treatment suggested by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
General & Family Physician
