What Causes Small Raised Bumps On Penis Shaft?

I have recently been checked for all STD and STI because I wanted to make sure I was clear. Everything came back negative. A week ago after no change in sexual behavior, a few small raised bumps appeared on my penile shaft. I picked at them, nothing came out, no fluid or puss, then they scabbed over. It doesn t burn when I pee. I have no other symptoms except for about 10 small scabs on each side of my penis. I have done a little online research and found that flu like symptoms accompany the first outbreak of herpes. I had the stomach flu earlier in the week, no fever or vommiting just fatigue and diarrhea. Any clue as to what may be going on?

Hello and welcome.

I do suspect infections like herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, etc; but your STD panel may have ruled them all out. I would although recommend a repeat panel as your presentation has to match one of these infections.

Speak to your doctor once again, go about a physical examination, avoid picking on the scabs or lumps that appear, and please abstain from all forms of sexual contact until your doctor proves you to be safe and infection free.
