What Causes Small Flesh Colored Spot On Lower Waterline Of Eye?

I have a small flesh coloured spot on my lower waterline of my eye, it s not sore or anything yet when I blink or scrunch my eyes I can feel it and it hurts slightly. It s very small yet it is noticeable. Is there any explanation as to what this is and how its caused? Also, how can it be treated?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain a flesh coloured bump over the lower waterline of eye that is slightly tender and not very painful seems to be a "Stye"

A stye is an infection of the oil glands present over the eyelids..
It can be very well treated with antibiotic and steroid eye drops..
Steroid ointment suitable to be placed over the eyelid can further help in its resolution..
You can also do warm compresses over the eyelid as it will help in faster resolution of the bump..

In case if there in no improvement in a week consult an Ophthalmologist and get evaluated..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
