Hello,

As per your case history, your husband may be having hyperpigmentation due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

My treatment advice is:
1. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like Mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.

If the problem persists, then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
