What Causes Slight Nipple Bruising After Nipples Piercing?

Hello, I have both of my nipples pierced and I know the general reaction will be to take them out, but I won t. I think I have slight bruising, it s a very old yellow colour, underneath my left nipple and going off to the left side of my beast, it is a little tender. I do not know wether it is a reaction I am having with the metal coming into contact with something else or I have done something to myself.

Hello,

Nipple piercing can cause bruise under the nipple as in your case. Sometimes the metal may cause irritant contact dermatitis. If that is the case, you may have to remove the metal for sometime until it heals. Please consult a dermatologist for further evaluation. Until then you can apply Soframycin ointment to prevent or treat infection in the nipple area.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
