What Causes Skipping Of Heart Beat With Palpitation In A Diabetic?
I also feel that skipping heart beat and worry what is going on. i am female, 58 yrs old with Diabetes type 2 on Lantus Insulin and Novolog Insulin. I have CKD stage 4, and a heart murmur, and tachycardia. My cardiologist just recently increased the cardizem cd to 180 mg. My heart rate was 99 resting. I have high blood pressure and edema. In feb a surgical procedure--had sepsis, lost blood pressure, heart stopped, everythign went south. Just as i start to fall asleep this skip the beat thing happens and wakes me up. If someone tries to talk to me, i notice i tremble even in my voice. Should i tell my cardiologist this is happening? Is it something to worry abt? I do have fatique often, and even at this moment, find shortness of breath.. and the spironolactone i was given for awhile increased the potassium in my blood to dangerous levels, so was taken off that.Should i be worried abt the heart skipping beats? or just figure its all part of life. I know i dont need to worry abt anything extra! i have lots to worry abt as it is.
