My Father is 60 years old and has skin disease for more than 30 years. At the time of summer, the skin of his hands and feet get lot of red inflammation/itchiness and they also release pus. If thing got worsen these spread up to elbows and knees. He has tried both allopath and homeopathy but none of it gave permanent results. In allopath the doctors mainly starts with some steroid (as far as I heard from him) type of medicines which drastically relieve his problem but when they tried to reduce the dose it again starts appearing.
The above problem is persisting for a long time and he tried different doctors and sometime just uses ointment to get relief from them. But for the last 2-3 years he has got a new problem which is causing more concern. He used to get some allergy like symptom all of sudden, for example, the skin all over the body starts itching, his face got red and swollen, uneasiness in abdomen and he cannot swallow anything and feels like choking. Then he needs to immediately take cetrizine and symptoms got subsidized in 20-30 minutes. He has to always carry cetrizine with him since if got delayed he cannot even swallow medicine.
This problem was occurring earlier with gaps of 4-5 months in between but now they have become more frequent and sometime in single month he got 2-3 times. Things get worsen in summer and are better or almost absent in winter.
Please let me know if you think from the above symptoms that his problem is related to dermatology so that I could fix an appointment with you in this regard.
