What Causes Sinus Infection, Pressure In Head And White Spots In Throat?

Hi! I ve recently moved across the country and a couple days after my arrival, I got terribly sick. I felt like a bad sinus infection, pressure in my head and ears, lots of drainage making me cough,a few white spots on my throat, motion sickness and fatigue. After about a week the pressure started to go away and the cough started going farther down in my chest until it finally seemed to go away. That was only a couple days ago. And now I am suddenly running a temperature, my throat feels swollen, my head hurts, I feel weak, and my heart randomly thumps harder than normal, like in getting excited but I m just sitting here. It kinda makes me nervous. What is wrong??

Hi,

There may be a few causes like an upper respiratory tract infection, if the tonsils or throat is paining and swollen it needs to be checked for any follicles or infection, a you are picking up on a fever the palpitations may be due to the same and anxiety.

It is best to visit the ER and get it checked, as these are symptoms of a viral also a bacterial infection a well, it is advisable to make sure so treatment and relief can be started on as early as possible.

It may spread through saliva and droplets, it is best to share utensils, or food for now and also take precautions on not touching your eyes and nose. Self care like warm gargle, steam inhalation, taking plenty of warm fluids will help. An in-person physical examination of the throat is required to decide the form of treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
