As per your complain it seems that you have a case of sinus infection also known as Sinusitis and the symptoms of congestion along with pressure in eyes and ears along with headache seems to be due to it.. It is correct that sore spot on roof of mouth is due to post nasal drip causing infection and inflammation and it is the cause for sore spot.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. You can be advised a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, ani-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Phenylephrine, mucolytics like Ambroxol and anti allergics like Benadryl. Do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room.. Do saline nasal irrigations and use decongestant nasal sprays.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods and drink plenty of warm water.. Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine to reduce pain in the palate. Hope this information helps.. Thanks and regards.
