What Causes Sickness And Headache After Alcohol Consumption?

I got really drunk on Saturday night drank a whole bottle of vodka, after not drinking for a year, passed out drunk after being sick. Woke up sunday felt dizzy and sick slept most of the weekend. It's now Wednesday and I still feel dizzy and unbalanced? I don't feel sick and headaches have gone now but how long before it wears off? Can I do anything to help? Should I see a doctor?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sickness and headache after alcohol consumption is because of dehydration and hangover which generally occurs with vodka and as you did after so long that is why you experiencing such symptoms. Need not to panic about it. I would suggest you to take proton pump group of medications like omeprazole. Drink plenty of water along with salt and sugar. You should take oral rehydrating solution. You should take fresh citrus fruits. take multivitamins as well. Visit general physician once an get it examined and start treatment if symptoms keeps on worsening.
