What Causes Shoulder Pain To Now Radiate To The Chest And Back After Taking Steroid Medication Along With Anti-inflammatory Medicine?

Hello. I’m a male 35. Smoker in decent shape. I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago for left shoulder pain. He gave me a steroid pack. It got worse went back last week he gave me a anti inflammatory. Now the pain that started in the shoulder has moved to my back and in my chest. It hurts to swallow or breathe. I called them today never got a call back. Thought I’d ask here. Ty

Your symptoms could be related to a flue infection or any other viral infection. I recommend taking vitamins and ibuprofen for the pain. If you have fever, consulting again with your doctor and performing some blood lab tests will be necessary.
