my mum had a cardiac arrest in hospital, whilst being treated for several blood clots on her lungs. She was down for 20 minutes with CPR being done. She is now extubated, taking brief walks and talking, but still quite breathless. Her blood pressure today has been 164/45, 154/42, 150/40. I am concerned that she may have another clot semi-blocking an artery. She is 79 years old, weighs 49kg and is short (5 ft 1 or 2). She was previously healthy playing tennis and walking 2kms daily. She had 3 stents inserted during an angiogram 22 days ago, was discharged and readmitted with extreme shortness of breath on the 16th, and had her cardiac arrest on Monday 19th June. Is this regular blood pressure reading an indication of hypotension? Should I be overly concerned?
