What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Chronic Cough Upon Exertion?

A friend of mine has a chronic cough and shortness of breath upon exertion. He had some sort of flu or respiratory virus about a month ago. He took the antibiotics and finished those. The cough and shortness of breath have continued but not on a constant basis.

As you mentioned you have problem of chronic cough and shortness of breath .
Proper antibiotics course helpful in infection condition.
Still there is same symptoms present than consult a pulmonologist for further diagnosis.
Auscaltation of respiratory sound helpful in diagnosis.
X ray of lung for further diagnosis.
Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
