General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suffering from shortness of breath along with heaviness in the leg and tiredness. Acid in the throat is indicative of indigestion, malabsorption, GERD, liver dysfunction, peptic ulcer, esophageal ulcer, constipation, etc. Get clinically examined by a GP, get CBC, and required imaging tests done to detect ulcer or any other pathology. Get treated accordingly.

You should not skip meals, take home made nutritious food in time. Avoid oily, spicy junk food as it causes you acidity. You can take antacids or PPIs for relieve. Add fiber to your daily diet and avoid constipation. If required take laxatives. Heaviness in the legs and tiredness commonly occurs due to water retention, sedentary lifestyle, varicose veins, venous insufficiency, etc.

Limit the amount of salt intake. Avoid sedentary lifestyle, do regular walking. Take food rich in iron and minerals. Get clinically evaluated and treated. Shortness of breath can be suggestive of anemia, asthma, poor general health condition, URTI, bronchitis, COPD or serious lung disease. Get required imaging tests ( X-ray, CT/MRI) done. Get treated. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
