Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Shortness of breath could be caused by many medical conditions. With a past history of sinus surgery, it might just be a long term complication of the intervention like post intervention obstruction. However, sinus surgeries are known to be very effective in alleviating symptoms.I will suggest you see your ENT specialist to evaluate. If cause not related to sinus surgery complication, other causes of shortness of breath will have to be evaluated like lungs infection/pathologies, heart pathologies, allergy. In the meantime, a bronchodilator like salbutamol spray, an antihistamine like aerus may help him now.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
