Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Dental X-rays?
I have been experiencing shortness of breath periodically during the day. It does not seem to bother my sleep and it is not constant. I am not coughing. I have had quite a few dental xrays in the last 6-8 months. I do not think I am anemic. I don t get enough restful sleep. I have my annual check up in April but I have not called my doctor to move my appointment or to make an appointment about this symptom.
A dental x-ray may not cause breathing difficulty. It may be anaemia, respiratory problems or cardiac problem etc. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
