What Causes Short Term Memory Loss And Headaches While Suffering From Sepsis?

My 85yr old mom had sepsis in May 2014. Every since than she has had memory loss, and repeats herself a lot,but is aware of the loss of memory Must state short term memory loss. She also complains of daily headaches. CT scan show no abnormalities, all her blood work is fine for her age. What could I do to help her.

Hello,

* Acute onset of short term memory loss in concern with septic condition as infection or else is associated with delirium related.

* If the same persists beyond medical recovery of sepsis for a period of more than 4 weeks, secondary associates of neurologic disorder has to be evaluated by MRI brain or else.

If cognitive evaluation score of MINNESOTA multitude study is available with your treating physician, I would like to readdress the condition.
