I have a sharp shooting pain between my shoulder blades which causes me great discomfort when I lay flat on my back or sit in certain positions. I also have pain when taking a deep breath which extends to the left side of my chest. This started yesterday. I have since been taking Ibuprofen which eases the pain. However the pain still persists. Any idea what it could be? Many thanks.
