What Causes Sharp Radiating Pain From The Left Arm To The Wrist?

earlier this morning I had a sharp pain run down my left arm to my wrist. I took a couple of aspirin and it subsided. I, of course, took it to be symptom of a heart attack, but it did not bother me further. Approx. 5 minutes ago, the same pain occurred again. Your take on it? 62 years old.

Do you have other signs? Do you have chest pain? How long does the pain continue? May be it is a bursitis. We need a detailed explanation of other symptoms, if you got some.
