Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been getting constant sharp pains in my left heel for about 2 weeks now and don t know what is causing it. I was diagnosed with Plantars Fasciatus about 1 year ago. The pain isn t as bad after I have stretched or soaked my foot, but the pain is still there.
The possibility of plantar fasciitis related pain is more likely. This needs bed rest, painkiller and anti-inflammatory drugs. Avoid weight bearing. Wear cushion socks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
