What Causes Sharp Pain In Thigh Radiating To Leg?

I recently had a sharp pain on my inner thigh that radiates to the back of my leg up by my hamstring and side of my quad i guess. I didnt do anything that i feel that would have strained this. It does t hurt to walk but mostly when i go to sit and raise up like when i bend at the knee. That slowly left but now the same exact thing is going on in my other leg. Adult male 35. No history of leg injuries.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

It is possible that a strecthed nerve can cause such symptoms. But it usually recovers with time. Take some rest. For pain you may take some mild analgesics.

If problems persists even after some days it is better to consult neurologist who will help you with further diagnosis and treatment.

Hope this helps.

If you have any other queries I'll be happy to help.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
