Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, this indicates possible underlying bronchi irritation from respiratory infection as the pain is exacerbated via deep breath, which is quite common with normal x-ray chest.
* I recommend to go for precise antibiotics ( we prefer penicillin group ), Bronchi dilator molecules, cough formulas, anti histamine medications along with walk in fresh air and deep breathing exercises to get early recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
