I get severe pain in my left knee. It seems to be more noticeable when I move from a hinged position to an extended position. The pain I experience last for several seconds then goes away. It is located on the lower left side of my knee on my left leg just below the kneecap. The feeling I have I would compare to the sensation of a burning hot needle piercing through my outer knee and moving deeper into the joint as seconds go by. At first I thought perhaps foreign material was under the skin but now it seems to be deeper into the joint. This has been going on for several weeks now and only getting worse. I am by far not over weight at 5 7 and 135 Lbs. I am a flooring contractor and spend most of my day on my knees.
