What Causes Sharp Pain In The Eyes Post Usage Of FML T For Swelling In Eye?

I was advised FML T for swelling near my right eye ball for 2 weeks by eye doctor. I was using it for 7 days and yesterday after my swimming class, i have developed under eye redness and it is painful. FML T is now causing very sharp pain in eyes. Should I continue using FML T?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you have inflammation of the eye layer that is conjunctivitis so I would recommend you not to use FML as it will worsen it and try taking some antibiotic drops after consulting your general physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
