What Causes Sharp Pain In Right Abdominal Area Long After Having Kidney Stones?

Hi, I m 37 and I ve been having a severe sharp pain in my right kidney area when I cough or sneeze this past 5 weeks, the area is also sore to touch, and takes a few minutes for the pain to ease off, I ve had 20 years of kidney stones in both kidneys, at the minute there s s 2mm stone in the right kidney, but the pain is completely different to renal colic.. Any idea what it could be ?

Hi,
From history it seems that this can be due to renal colic.
Seeing the nature of pain it seems that stone from kidney came down to urethra giving rise this typical pain.
Take plenty of water, if stone cam down, it might come out.
Take antispasmodic medicine like Meftal spas or Cyclopam for pain.
Ok and take care.
