What Causes Sharp Pain In Lower Back Radiating Towards Shoulder?

I have a shooting pain like a spasm that is coming from my lower back up to my shoulder, it is now consistant in my upper back. I have had vascular surgery on both legs for vascular disease, could like possibly be related? what can I try to get it to stop? Can this be caused by stress?

Pain in lower back may be due to Spinal injection given to anaesthtise lower limbs for vascular surgery you had Lower back pain cant travel to shoulder. It is the upperback pain raidiating tp shoulder.. Have an xray of upper back done to make a diagnosis. IF i have to treat such a patient i will advice Tab diclofenaic peracetamol with MR cap B complex and tab tramadol and forearm sling in neck.
