Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
As per your complain as you are diagnosed with temporomandibular joint disorder there can be a number of causes for it like anterior dislocation of the articular disk that is a soft cushion present between bony ends of the joint, loss of sinovial fluid that provides lubrication, dislocation of the condylar head of the mandible that takes part in forming the jaw joint..
You should consult an Oral physician or an oral surgeon and get a proper clinical evaluation done and he can also advise you to get a full mouth
x ray [IOPAR] done to rule out the eexact cause of the pain and treat you accordingly.
As of now you can take a combination of a painkiller like
Etoricoxib and a
muscle relaxant like chlorzoxasone and thiocolchicoside for relief..
You can also do warm compresses over the jaw joint, side of face and extending till the side of neck..
Massage the sides of face in round motions using your finger tips and an oil like olive oil.
Take a
soft diet.
Avoid excessive mouth opening during chewing, yawning and laughing..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
