Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I AM A 68 YEAR OLD FEMALE IN VERY GOOD HEALTH, TAKE ONLY 2 SCRIPTS. I AM HAVING HIP ISSUES. AT NIGHT I AM WOKEN UP BY VERY SHARPE STABBING PAINS IN MY RIGHT HIP WHEN I TRY TO CHANGE POSITIONS. DURING THE DAY I HAVE PAIN AT A # 5TO6 LEVEL ALL ACROSS MY LOWER BACK, I HAVE HAD THE NERVES ALONG MY SPINE BURNT BUT THIS PAIN CONTINUES. ANY ANSWERS AS TO WHAT IS CAUSING MY PAIN?
I probably feel that you are having a problem with your spine. It is better to go for an MRI of the spine with consultation from a spine surgeon. It may be a disc prolapse.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sivasankar S., Anesthesiologist
