What Causes Sharp Pain In Belly?

my boyfriend and i are really worried about this harsh pains hes been getting, its even made him cry because he was fed up of the pain coming and going constantly, he does drink alot of tea with more sugar than you would think! i try cut him down but he wont listen... hes very ignorant and dont like to see the doctors... silly i know! so please if you have any idea that would be great, im really worried! lately they have stopped but i just want to prepare for it if it happens again... and what sort of things will sooth it or atleast ease the pain.. thankyou!

As per your symptoms there is possibility gastritis.
I will advise to start antacids [proton pump inhibitors like] rabeprazole 20 mg twice a day.
Sucralfate will protect gastric mucosa and will give protective covering.
Appendicitis can lead to severe pain ,ultrasonography will help in diagnosis.
