What Causes Sharp Pain From Throat To Chest?
I am experiencing sharp pains from my throat to my chest vey often. what could be going on. back in 2003 I had a mass growing on my thyroid and had surgery to remove that mass. I was not put on any medication.just recently I went to my doctor to check my thyroid level and everything came back normal. but I know that what I am experiencing is very painful at times and is becoming more frequent.

looking to the history given here the symptom that you have may not be due to the thyroid disease, but this could be due to GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) in my opinion this can be best treated with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Tab Domperidone 30 mg at evening time for six week, try to avoid the smoking, coffee, and alcohol prior to bed, eat more alkali diet, no need to worry about this, take care.
