Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
Your symptoms are not consistent with cardiac pain they are in my opinion caused by neuro muscular problem. During prolonged sitting or driving your nerves are getting compressed which is causing these symptoms of
numbness and other problems. This might be caused by muscle spasm , or
cervical spine issues.
Although I do recommend you to visit an orthopedic surgeon or a
neurologist who ever you can get to visit first, but I would also like to suggest a few things here which will help you make things better.
1) Give your effected arm some good rest, try not to drive and sit for long time or at least give yourself some intermittent rest period meanwhile.
2) You can use arm rests for better support your arm during sitting and driving.
3) Try to avoid the posture which mostly causes the problem.
4) You can take
Tylenol in case of pain.
5)
Physiotherapy can be of great help.
6) If these life style modifications don't help you , it is advised that you visit your doctor , he might want to get some tests don'e to help you better.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
