I ll sum up my symptoms instead of writing in a story form, unless you require that as well.I m 44 years old 6 0 265 pounds (was 315 at Christmas 2014)I do at home workouts and always did the modifier (low impact)..Last Thursday I did the full HIIT version of the program (High impact) which has alot of burpees, jumping, being on your toes a lot, etc...Nothing was different - infact I was extremely proud that I did it HIIT (I was never ever to before)..The next morning my right leg from just above the knee to the heel was stiff.** I have a bad knee on that leg (had an operation 10 years ago on the meniscus, cardletge, mild scope), and I have no acl and mcl apparently..Anyway, the stiffness left, but the sharp pain in my calve (who back, maybe achilies heal as well) and very tender on the inside , middle of the calf.My inside ankle is swollen (lots of fluid retention) as well as my calf.My wife said it is reddish (the whole leg) as well.I can flex my foot / toes straight down, and I can flex my foot straight up (no pain). If I start walking, I feel the sharp, burning senesation in the calf and heal at times, but then it subsides, UNTIL I stop.. then I have to rub it or bend my leg upwards to releive preasure ?** Elevating the foot, does help.. but being in my 102 degree hot tub, literally takes away all the pain unless I move my leg, but then it s subtile..For the past 2 nights, I have woken due to it being sore (not exscrusiating, but enough to keep me up) and I use a massager on it that helps a bit..And finally, Tylonal gel capsile take almost the pain completely away.My wife is getting me worried that she thinks it s a DVT because of the swelling, redness with heat, etc.. but because it happened right after I did that workout, I think I just injured my leg (265 pounds coming down with hi impact isn t a good idea.. (i say now). lol. Any ideas.
