What Causes Sharp Pain And Numbness In The Neck?

Yes. The easiest way to explain or describe my problem is like a old box Tv that pops and goes to static. My issue starts with me jerking or a upper body spasm then seeing black and white with a sharp pain in the left side of my neck turning into tingling and numbness that spreads to the whole left side of my neck, head and face. This occurs about 6 to 7 times a month. From the age of 6 to 15 this would also result in a massive Headache that only laying on a cold floor and the use of a ice pack on my head would bring relief. I m 27 years old Active a smoker and have relatively normal blood pressure. I do have frequent bloody noses.

Hi,

It can be a cervical spine related problem. Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. You might require an MRI scan of the neck for detailed evaluation. Wishing you good health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
