What Causes Sharp Pain And Blood Discharge In Stools?
I have sharp pain when going to the toilet (passing stools) and blood. The stool itself isnt bloody, just when i wipe there is blood on the tissue. This has been going on about a week. I just thought I had been bitten by a bug in the wrong place as there was no blood, but the pain has got worse and now there is blood. There isnt pain any other time, just when going to the toilet.

It can be due to inflammatory bowel disease, Duodenal ulcer, haemorrhoids or any growth in GIT.
You need to report the emergency room. You may be required for endoscopy, colonoscopy to find the cause and accordingly, you would be treated.
