General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The cause of sharp pain in left heel with high blood sugar levels indicate possible diabetic neuropathy issue most likely.

It is very well known sequence of uncontrolled diabetes presenting with neuralgia of this type. In my clinic , I do recommend

- strict dietary restrictions for the diabetes
- regular anti diabetic medications or Insulin injections as per the evaluation of lab data
- intake of pregabalin, methyl cobalamine ( active form of vitaminB12), folic acid, zinc, magnesium , multi vitamins and minerals help great
- regular walking , exercises
- control of body weight

- strict avoidance of smoking if consuming
- control of serum cholesterol levels
- regular follow up in diabetic and surgical OPD.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
