What Causes Sharp Left-sided Pain On The Rib Cage?
I am a 24 year old female. The bottom left side of my rib cage has stuck out as long as I can remember. The right side doesn t. I have a sharp achy pain that comes and goes. when it hurts, it will hurt for a month solid but the next couple months it won t bother me. What could it be?

Hello,
It seems to be a muscle strain problem. For that anti-inflammatory drug medication like brufen can be prescribed for five days.
A hot compress can be applied over that.
Avoid strenuous activities. Take rest for a few days. If no improvement than x-ray needs to be done.
