When I sometimes eat my throat want to close and when I swallow it creates a sharp burning pain across my left breast. I m 62 male in good shape and never smoked and have an occasional beer. Even now I have the burning behind my left breast close to sternum.

Well come to HCM
Thank for asking
I really appreciate your concern, it could be swallowing difficulty may be due to hyperacidity even the burning sensation could be due to hyperacidity, if I would be doctor of this case then I would treat this case with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Tab Domperidone 10 mg once in day it has to be taken for three to four weeks dose need to be taken at evening time, try to avoid the spicy food, alcohol, smoking, coffee prior to bed, safe side it is advisable to get done the EKG and x-ray chest, hope this information helps.
