What Causes Sharp Intermittent Chest Pain Along With Nausea And Diarrhea?

Two nights in a row awakened with intense pain in the center of my chest. Yesterday to swallow even liquids, burned going down. Tonight awakened again. Sharp intermittent pain. After a while got up and drank 1T baking soda in water. Then pain slowed for a while, but became extremely nauseous and then had diarrhea several times. Now pain in chest and esophagus is coming and going again. (I don t normally eat a lot of greasy food but the night this began, the night before last, I ate greasy chicken wings for dinner. Had attributed it to that at first. But now I am wondering if it could still be that since that was two nights ago) the pain is in the center of my chest and seems to be radiating in and behind my esophagus

I have read through your question and here is my opinion.

It seems like you are suffering from acid peptic disease. If you have this problem since a long time you may have developed gastric or esophageal ulcers. I would advise you to get yourself checked by a gastroenterologist. He may advise you to undergo an endoscopy to make a proper diagnosis. Meanwhile you should avoid taking any oily or spicy food. Avoid taking any food two hours before going to sleep. Drink lots of water. Take an antacid like Tab Ranitidine on empty stomach for a few days.
