What Causes Sharp Abdomen Pain And Gastritis While On Aubagio?

I m having severe pain on the right side of my stomach , below my ribs , down to the loer part and around to my back crampy, then sharp pain ,also my stomach is swollen and I can t stand for anything touching it .it gets worse if I eat or drink anything ,I do have some gas but not constipated, I do have m.s but this is different. I take aubigio for my m.s.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having abdomen pain and gastritis while on Aubagio . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance , giardiasis or intestinal Ileus. The symptoms can also occur due to side effects of certain medicine , so also consult doctor who prescribed aubagio and discuss the condition .Try to drink warm water several times a day . For now eat light and non spicy , avoid food like sea food and nuts , take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history . Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine .
