What Causes Shaking Heads And Tapping Legs After Alcohol Consumption?
i had to pick my girlfriend up from the bar and I think she was drugged as i've never seen her like this before. she can't stop either a) shaking her head no, tapping her leg, and she keeps asking me the same question over and over. We've been dating for over a year and we've drank plenty of times together, but I've never seen her like this. Any ideas
quite a lot of them. First, you cannot rule out something other than alcohol (other drugs slipped into her drink). Then, there are several types of confusion that can cause disorientation and memory. There is the simple "drunk" and this can be different from previous alcohol experiences simply because more alcohol was taken for a greater degree of intoxication. Then there is confusion from other drugs or...other prescriptions interacting with alcohol (other sedatives can be very dangerous mixed with alcohol; other mood drugs such as anti-schizophrenia drugs can have unpredictable effects but are very likely to have effects on movement and coordination). I have to say, that last one seems compelling. Someone's haldol or abilify added to alcohol......
another bad possibility is if someone has some beginning parkinson's, alcohol can make it more obvious. this is rare in young people unless they took a bad batch of xtasy.
