What Causes Shaking And Sweating Sensation After Smoking Cigarette?
Hi so I recently smoked a Cigarette about maybe seven hours ago, after I was finished with it I right away got shaky and hot and sweaty and everything felt as if it was in slow motion, and I had the feeling to just puke but I couldn t because I didn t want to move, this was my first ever Cigarette.
Cigarette contains nicotine and tobacco. Nicotine on direct application in humans causes: 1) Irritation and burning sensation in the mouth 2) Increased salivation 3) Nausea 4) Abdominal pain 5) Vomiting 6) Increase in pulse rate and blood pressure 7) Increase in level of catecholamines in blood this causes anxiety
These effects can occur after cutaneous and respiratory exposure. You seem to be allergic to nicotine of cigarettes. It's better to avoid smoking cigarettes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
